I was in the bathroom getting ready for bed, pretty pleased with myself for going to bed early this evening, when the baby started crying. Then she started crying hard. She doesn’t want to be soothed. She doesn’t want to nurse. She isn’t feverish. Just mad. Could be the thunder. Could be the teething. Either way, looks like I am not going to bed early :). So, I’ll take this little opportunity to share my menu plan. I think it will be calming for me. I wish it would be calming for her :).
BREAKFASTS:
Oatmeal or homemade granola x 3
Yogurt with fruit x 2
Cereal bars, smoothies
Muffins, smoothies
LUNCHES:
Leftovers & Whatevers
PB & J, fresh veggies, fruit smoothie
Banana Oat Chocolate Chip Muffins, scrambled eggs, fresh veggies
Homemade Granola Bars, baked beans, fresh veggies
Black bean quesadillas, fresh veggies
Baked potatoes, cheese, steamed broccoli
Tuna or PB and crackers, bring homemade applesauce and cookies to church potluck
DINNERS:
Spaghetti with marinara, spinach salad
Roasted potatoes and green beans (I will add some kind of meat to this – depends on what I buy at the farmers market), corn bread, homemade strawberry sorbet
Vietnamese Fried Rice, fresh fruit
Black Bean and Barley Stew, fresh fruit
Lentil Tacos, fresh tomatoes, avocados, black olives, tortilla chips
Popcorn, Apple slices and honey cream cheese dip and MOVIE NIGHT :)!
Leftovers and Whatevers (this always seems to be the easiest option after an entire day at church)
That’s my plan! See what others have planned this week at Menu Plan Monday.
